Examples of a Basic Roof; 

- New Hipped Roofs up to eight roof planes on a single storey roof.

- New Gables & Skillions with a max of 1 Roof modification.

- Not a Re-Roof.

Examples of a Standard Roof;

- New Hipped Roofs over eight roof planes on a single storey roof.

- Containing multiple storeys.

- Has box gutters, Parapet Walls.

- Average amount of Roof modifications more than 1, less than 5.

- All Re-Roofs start from 'Standard'.

Examples of a Complex Roof;

- Anything that falls outside of 'Basic' and 'Standard' guidelines.

- A 'Standard' roof with 5 or more Roof modifications.

- Roofs with 15 faces or more.

- Rough plans that require advanced Design and Construct assumptions (D&C).

- A roof containing many of the following Intersecting planes, multiple pitches, dormers, multiple raised porticos and other roof modifications

 Is charged in addition to their matching roof estimating category such as 'Standard' or 'Complex' 

 Can quote a price on application (POA) before we start, upon request. 

Examples of a Townhouse Takeoff;

- Are estimates for a set of townhouses where multiple dwellings reside under the same roof

- Town Houses can also be classed as 'Individual Buildings', such as retirement villages or an estate, made up of 'Stand Alone' buildings, in which case estimates for Townhouse Developments (as Individual Buildings) will be completed as per their 'Standard' or 'Basic' category

Examples of a Commercial Roof Takeoff;

- Non-residential roof or cladding works. These are completed on our PlanSwift software

Our Commercial estimates are completed only by the Senior estimators of our team with commercial estimation knowledge & experience.

 Wall cladding estimating is an 'optional extra’ and will not be calculated unless we have been asked to include it. Cladding is completed on our PlanSwift software 

 All estimates include 1 report. 

Examples of an additional report would be when;

- The upper roof and lower roof need to be separated.

- If multiple options were required, eg. option 1 asTrimdek and option 2 as Kliplok.

- In the case of Mirror/Duplicate buildings needing to be Separated.

 - Coloured Block Cutting is charged in addition to their matching roof estimating category.

- We use the Roof Wizard model that we created for you at the time of your initial estimate*

- We suggest using this option after you win the job as it is designed to better coordinate the installers on-site and reduce errors.

* If the initial estimate has been completed elsewhere, ASE will create a new roof model first.

* New model price will be as per its matching roof estimating category.

Examples of a Purlin Takeoff;

- Purlin, Girts & Bridging estimates are exactly as they sound, we provide a complete takeoff on all Purlins, Girts and Bridging, Including Safebridge Systems.

 - Takeoffs for Safebridge and traditional purlins are completed on our PlanSwift software.

Example of other construction takeoff:

- We provide square metre take-offs for Plaster Board, painting, Aluminium Screens, fencing and other construction divisions.

- We can do more detailed take-offs only if information provided.
